Many, if not most TV shows police tactics are poorly executed and with little to no reality.
The new NCIS Hawaii staring Yasmine Al-bustami as Lucy Tara, Vanessa Minnillo as Jane Tennant and Toni Anderson as Kate Whistler has shown promise in its action scenes.
The action scenes with the guys are the run of the mill macho crap I gave up watching years ago but the scenes with the women offer some hope.
This scene with Yasmine is pretty good. The move is to trap the firearm, making it inoperable then strike the assailant in the throat, not wrestle.
