Second employee had a knife brandished as the thief made off with products.
The city is applying for a 2 million dollar grant to study crime prevention measures.
Employers can provide vulnerable staff with panic buttons. They have proven repeatedly to be effective and efficient. Make exterior and interior CCTV systems a priority.
One store has adopted a full-time security guard. Hopefully management will maintain the protection from opening to closing.
