The following is an excerpt from Social Secrets
Human Trafficking
Reality
"Sir Mohamad “Mo” Farah is a British long-distance Olympian has won ten global championships and is the most decorated UK track athlete in Olympic Games history.
The thirty-nine year old father of two recently revealed that he was trafficked to London as a child, forced to be a domestic servant.
His father, Abdi was killed during a Somalian civil war in which his mother, Aisha, spirited him away to live with relatives in Djibouti, a small country north of Somalia on the Gulf of Aden, outside the war zone praying her oldest was saved from violence.
In the process he was kidnapped by a woman who smuggled him into the UK using false documents which stated he was Mohamad Farah, not Hussein Kahil."
When you read Social Secrets debuting this fall, you'll find more about Mo, how extensive human trafficking is world-wide, British Columbia's Highway of Tears and how philanthropists create a safe haven outlining what can reality can accomplish.

Our appreciation to the BBC and YouTube for the video
With the thousands of people being trafficked world-wide it is comforting to read a success story.
