"A Vancouver Island First Nation says the first phase of scanning for unmarked graves has begun on the grounds of a former residential school near Port Alberni. The Tseshaht First Nation says the project at the former site of the Alberni Indian Residential School began yesterday and will take about two weeks. The statement says children from at least 100 First Nations across British Columbia attended the school while it operated from 1900 to 1973."

Kevin ANNETT ( former priest/ Canadian Author ) was sourced by Indian residential school survivors in Port Alberni, B.C. back in 1995 . Many thanks for Kevin ANNETT for all of his sacrifices in his life for sharing the truths of abuse and murders of little ( Indian ) children at church run Indian residential schools . Let us never forget. Every Child Matters.
Thank you Heather
We are sad and yet excited that these children will be recognized. Why are we not doing this in America?
