My Mom walked for Dr. King here in Los Angeles and is saddened to see the setbacks. The evil these men embody is nauseating. When I joined the LAPD I received the odd comment about my race. My Mom would have disapproved of my actions, similar to what I demonstrated in Vancouver Secrets when a racist tried to throw me out of the restroom.
