"Statistics Canada, shows them rising 37 per cent overall in Canada from 2019. In B.C., they rose 60 per cent."

I sat across from a BC couple recently at a social event who were unabashedly racist saying they would never venture into Richmond, BC, "Because of all the Asians." It was like being in my parents home before they threw me out for my views.

This couple were in their 70s and were not about to change their attitude.

"Statistics Canada...indicates that rates of violent victimization among Indigenous people were more than double that among non-Indigenous people."
