I've always enjoyed "Never Walk Alone" from the1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel and I can see it as a motivational piece for sure. I read Tessa and Scott's book and saw them perform that number. Mind blowing. Twenty years with many disappointments, many thoughtful discussions of quitting, all of which is motivational. I never would have thought Jim Carrey to be someone of such depth.
Great post. Thanks.
"Never Walk Alone" Bocelli offers this number from his "Believe" album which seems appropriate for a motivational discussion.
I was surprised and somewhat taken aback by Jim Carrey's poignant speech. I never perceived him to have that depth of knowledge or perception. Obviously I was ignorantly driven by his humorous films.
Tessa and Scott have always impressed me and I have pointed their success to many friends with children. Twenty years!
I read their book and it helped me transition from the Secret Service to private investigator.
Dr. Maya always impressed me with her wisdom and perspective on life.
