It is sad when we hear the ignorant comments from bystanders who haven't a clue as to what is occurring or have the common sense that the suspect is resisting arrest. Kudos to officers for maintaining their composure in light of vociferous ignorance.
Our appreciation to VPD for the coverage.

There is always more to the story particularly where law enforcement is involved.
"As recently as May, Addison said officers had dealt with the man in a satiation where “he barricaded himself in a house for an extended period of time that required emergency response team, police negotiators, and a warrant issued by a judge to go in and make the arrest.” He also said that there were other issues that led police to be concerned the man may barricade himself in the vehicle with a child."
McCormick is right, the ignorance of bystanders who haven't a clue as to what is happening.
