BREAKING WILD TAKEDOWN Video shows the Toronto police mounted unit & Toronto Police 22 Division responding to and taking down at gunpoint three males who were called in that were potentially trying to rob another male at Sherway Gardens in the parking lot.
This brings back many fond memories of my service with the sheriff's department in Montana.
My partner and I worked with Mounties patrolling the Waterton Park in southern British Columbia in snagging drug runners.
They would cross the invisible border into the Glacier National Park which joins Waterton. We would be posing as a couple out for a ride as we approached then identified ourselves.
Almost 100% of the time they would boogie and I would get such a thrill racing to take them down.
My days as a barrel racer as a teen sure helped but it was the adrenaline rush that I almost lived for.
I'd ride up beside them just like a ground take-down, grab them by the collar and jerk. The horse kept going and the perp stopped.
Love this post!!!
My service with Delta Force would never have prepared me for what these officers did/do.
Terrific job TPS.
