"The Nov. 7 incident began when deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
The driver fled, reaching speeds of 100 mph and frequently crossing into oncoming traffic, video shows.
A TCSO sergeant deployed a Grappler device, a tool used to disable fleeing vehicles, which caused the vehicle to swerve through a chain link fence before colliding with a tree.
The driver then attempted to escape on foot, ignoring commands, but was quickly apprehended by K-9 Mac and deputies, video shows. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a handgun and a substance believed to be methamphetamine, the sheriff’s office said."
The Grappler demonstrated.

Very exciting technology for law enforcement. I wonder what the pros and cons are compared to the spike belt? One I can see is avoiding high speed chases to attach the belt.
