Listening to an RN today she mentioned that many of her male colleagues are regularly harassed by patients for choosing a "feminine" career.

Please pass this along to all nurses, particularly men, I am a Marine and as such can attest to every Medic I've known, been treated by or seen are men.

The audacity of someone denigrating a male nurse is beyond gaul.
Pass the word. Men are nurses.
If I am shot, it is a man who comes to save my life. A Navy Corpsman.

This is so appropriate. I read a post today from a nurse. He said that an older patient asked him, "So, you went to school to become a male nurse?" The RN responded, "Well, partially. I went to school to become an RN but I was already a male."
Love it!
