File # 2022-18421
The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is hoping to speak with a good Samaritan who helped a woman on East Shuswap Road in June.
On June 17, 2022, sometime in the afternoon, a female was running barefoot on the road when another woman stopped her vehicle, picked her up, and drove her into town. The driver brought the female to the Tk’emlúps Petro Canada and purchased her a pair of sandals.
Police are hoping to identify and speak to the driver as part of an assault investigation, which may have led to the female running on the road, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.
If you are, or know who the driver was, please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and ask for Cst. Meikle.
Our appreciation to the RCMP for the photo
